English: Sleeve insignia of the 104th Guards Airborne Division, depicting a scorpion and bow and arrow over a parachute with the guards ribbon below.
Русский: Первые в российской армии нарукавные знаки для дивизий ВДВ были введены Приказом Министра обороны РФ П.Грачева №35 от 26 января 1993 года "О нарукавных знаках военнослужащих воздушно-десантных войск Вооруженных Сил Российской Федерации". Для 104 вдд предусматривался: Нарукавный знак в форме щита, с изображением скорпиона и лука со стрелой, на фоне парашюта. Над щитом расположена развевающаяся лента с надписью «104 гв. ВДД». В нижней части знака — развевающаяся гвардейская лента с отходящими от нее вправо и влево вверх стилизованными крыльями.

Comment – According to interstate and international compacts, the Russian Federation is the legal successor of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; therefore, this license tag is also applicable to official symbols and formal documents of the Russian SFSR and the USSR (union level[1]).

Warning – This license tag cannot be applied to proposed official symbols and drafts of formal documents, which can be copyrighted.

  1. ↑ The union level means that use of official symbols and the formal documents of 14 other Soviet Republics is the subject of law of their legal successor. See respective license tags.
