1939 Ford 8hp E94A Roadster. This model was produced only in 1939.

Small 4 cylinder Fords were built in this style from 1937-59, they replaced the Model C Ford 10. Mainly built in the UK, but from 1939, in Australia as well. Many different models were built over the years, from 1938, generally the Anglia was the 2 door and the Prefect was the 4 door; The 1937-38 7W Ten was the first, in 2 or 4 door Saloon. 1938-49 UK built E93A Prefect, E04A Anglia. 1939-45 Oz built E03A Prefect, the roadster was the E94A 1946-48 Oz built A53A Prefect, A54A Anglia. 1949-53 UK built E493A Prefect, E494A Anglia 1949-53 Oz built A493A Prefect, A494A Anglia. 1953-59 UK and Oz built 103E Popular In 1953 the new lower, more modern 100E was released, but the 103E Popular, the old shape, continued on as a budget model. The E93A Prefect, replaced the 7W, it got a restyled grille with horizontal bars and central division, the headlights were still on top of the guards. Australian versions, the E03A, had an all steel roof and stainless steel waistline trim, whereas English cars had a fabric insert in the roof. This is the Roadster version the E94A.
