Magyar: Sáta címere
Sáta község címere álló, aranydíszítéssel keretezett, kék színű, ovális pajzs. A pajzs tetején ezüstszínű számokkal 1774 évszám olvasható. A címerkép ezüstszínű, középen egy szórólapát, jobb oldalt egy csép, bal oldalt egy gabonavilla látható.
A község címere egy 1774-ből származó pecsétlenyomat alapján készült. A pecsét felületén balról jobbra csép, szórólapát, gabonavilla volt látható. A pecsét felirata körben: SATAI•†•HELYSEGE•†•1774•†•
Csép: a gabonaszemnek a kalászból való kiverésére szolgáló kézi eszköz. A csép mintegy 150–200 cm-es nyélből és 70–80 cm hosszú ütőjéből, a hadaróból áll(t). A hadarót a nyélhez erős szíj erősítette, többnyire a nyél és a hadaró felső végére kötött csépfej segítségével.
Szórólapát: a gabona szórásához használt, fából készült lapát. A szórás folyamán választották el a gabona magját az ocsútól és a polyvától (pelyva) úgy, hogy a szórólapáttal a szél ellen dobtak egy merítés magot.
Gabonavilla: a szálas gabona vagy takarmány kézi boglyába rakásánál használt eszköz.

Official coat of arms and flags, being defined in such a regulation, are thus in the public domain in Hungary, and also in the US, according to § 313.6(C)(2) Compendium of U.S. Copyright Office Practices, 3rd ed. 2014 (Compendium (Third)): "As a matter of longstanding public policy, the U.S. Copyright Office will not register a government edict that has been issued by any state, local, or territorial government, including legislative enactments, judicial decisions, administrative rulings, public ordinances, or similar types of official legal materials. Likewise, the Office will not register a government edict issued by any foreign government or any translation prepared by a government employee acting within the course of his or her official duties."
