English: This map shows the route of Confederate Brigadier General Albert G. Jenkins in the Kanawha Valley Campaign of 1862 during the American Civil War. Jenkins circled behind a Union force commanded by Colonel Joseph Andrew Jackson Lightburn while a larger Confederate force commanded by Major General William W. Loring occupied the front. |
