Greenland and the Faroe Islands do not at all belong to the European Union and the survey did not include them by any extension. This notice advocates a change of the map.

Travail personnel. Source: Discrimination in the European Union. Special Eurobarometer. European Commission (2019). Retrieved on 2 June 2020. The question asked was "Do you consider yourself to be...?" With a card showing: Catholic, Orthodox Christian, Protestant, Other Christian, Jewish, Muslim - Shia, Muslim - Sunni, Other Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist, Non believer or Agnostic, and Other. 'Atheist' and 'Non believer or Agnostic' have been grouped as 'non-religious'. The colour scheme was inspired by File:Europe religion map situation 1950 en.png and modified according to clarity and usability; yellow was chosen to represent irreligion, as some modern atlases tend to do. As Germany had two equally largest groups of 30%, namely Catholics and non-religious, closely followed by 24% Protestants, a mix of colours was used.

Countries of Europe
Titre de l’image
A blank Map of Europe. Every country has an id which is its ISO-3166-1-ALPHA2 code in lower case.
Members of the EU have a class="eu", countries in europe (which I found turkey to be but russia not) have a class="europe".
Certain countries are further subdivided the United Kingdom has gb-gbn for Great Britain and gb-nir for Northern Ireland. Russia is divided into ru-kgd for the Kaliningrad Oblast and ru-main for the Main body of Russia. There is the additional grouping #xb for the "British Islands" (the UK with its Crown Dependencies - Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man) and the Kingdom of Denmark (Denmark, Faroe Islands, Greenland)
