English: Second Class Dining Saloon on the 'Niagara' (1913) Interior of the passenger liner 'Niagara' (1913) showing the Second Class Dining Saloon, on the Upper Deck, a view looking across to starboard. The Second Class Dining Saloon was decorated in the Georgian style. The photograph shows the piano and cabinets at the forward end. Opposite are stairs down to Second Class accommodation on the Main Deck, and up to the Second Class Entrance on the Shelter Deck. An aspidistra plant is in the left foreground. This is a copy negative made by Bedford Lemere & Co in July 1916; the original photographer is unknown. |
