Biographie
modifierGrace Eldering naît le [1].
En 1932, elle rencontre au Western Michigan Branch Laboratory du Michigan Department of Health Pearl Kendrick, une collègue scientifique du département qui s'intéressait également au développement d'un vaccin contre la coqueluche[2],[3]. Elles développent un vaccin viable en 1936[4].
Elles isolent l'agent Bordetella parapertussis en 1938[5].
