HMS Cachalot

Trois navires de la Royal Navy ont porté le nom de HMS Cachalot, d’après le mammifère marin, le Grand cachalot :
- Le HMS Cachalot (Z7) était un baleinier anti-sous-marins de classe Z, construit en 1915 par la Smith's Dock Company à Middlesbrough et vendu en 1933, alors qu’il était devenu le navire de sauvetage Gladiator[1].
- Le HMS Cachalot (N83) est un sous-marin de classe Grampus, lancé en 1937 et percuté par un torpilleur italien en 1941.
- Le HMS Cachalot (S06) est un sous-marin de classe Porpoise, lancé en 1957 et vendu à la casse en 1979.
