Enticho (également transcrit Inticho^[1]^,^[2]^,^[3] ou Intich'o^[4]) est une ville et un woreda du nord de l'Éthiopie située dans la zone Mehakelegnaw de la région du Tigré. Sa population est estimée à 21 800 habitants en 2022.

Situation

La ville est à 40 km d'Adoua sur la route en direction d'Adigrat^[2]^,^[3]^,^[5], à près de 2 000 m d'altitude^[4].

Ancien chef-lieu du woreda Ahferom^[1]^,^[2], elle est depuis le début des années 2020 un district urbain distinct^[6] enclavé dans Ahferom^[5].

Démographie

Le recensement national de 2007 fait état d'une population de 10 298 habitants dans la ville^[1]. En 2022, sa population est estimée à 21 800 personnes^[7].
