Répartition géographique
Le Tyranneau marbré (Pogonotriccus ophthalmicus) est une espèce de passereaux de la famille des Tyrannidae, native de la cordillère sud-américaine.
Habitat
modifierCet oiseau vit entre 800 en 2 200 m d'altitude[2].
Répartition et sous-espèces
modifierSelon la classification de référence du Congrès ornithologique international (version 9.1, 2025)[3] il se répartit en trois sous-espèces (ordre phylogénique) :
- P. o. ophthalmicus Taczanowski, 1874 — Andes colombienne, équatoriennes et péruviennes ;
- P. o. ottonis von Berlepsch, 1901 — sud-est du Pérou et ouest de la Bolivie ;
- P. o. purus Todd, 1952 — cordillère de la Costa (Venezuela).
Taxinomie
modifierPlusieurs sources classent cette espèce sous le nom de Phylloscartes ophthalmicus[1],[4],[5]. En effet, le genre Pogonotriccus a longtemps été fusionné avec le genre Phylloscartes[6]. Malgré tout, en 2004, John W. Fitzpatrick, dans le 9e volume du Handbook of the Birds of the World, choisit de traiter Pogonotriccus comme un genre séparé en se basant sur les légères différences de comportement des oiseaux des deux genres[7]. Frank Gill and David Donsker reconnaissent ensuite également Pogonotriccus comme un genre séparé pour le compte du Congrès ornithologique international.
