Miopsalis leakeyi est une espèce d'opilions cyphophthalmes de la famille des Stylocellidae.

Distribution

Cette espèce est endémique du Sabah en Malaisie^[1]^,^[2]. Elle se rencontre sur le Gunung Silam.

Description

Le mâle holotype mesure 4,20 mm^[3].

Systématique et taxinomie

Cette espèce a été décrite sous le protonyme Stylocellus leakeyi par Shear en 1993. Elle est placée dans le genre Miopsalis par Clouse et Giribet en 2012^[4].

Étymologie

Cette espèce est nommée en l'honneur de Raymond J. G. Leakey^[3].
