If you want that the script saves reports on urwiki, I invite you to add the configuration with the name urdict on https://github.com/Niharika29/database-reports/blob/master/i18n/i18n.py. If you do'nt want to use github website, you can post the translated/adapted config here, and I'll create the patch on github. Great weekend !

@BukhariSaeed Hello, ok, I understand that you want me to create a report page based on the old enwiki's [[:en:Wikipedia:Database_reports/Most-watched_pages.

I've found the script that was generating it https://github.com/mzmcbride/database-reports/blob/master/general/mostwatched.py, and tried to execute it on labs replicas https://quarry.wmflabs.org/query/26108. Nevertheless, the watchlist table is not present in the server. I suspect it was removed from it, as the pages people follow are commonly considered confidential information, although it's still used by Mediawiki . So as it stands I don't have a source to generate such a report.

But I'm surprised that MZMcBride keep enwiki's report page updated with by executing the request last year as shows the history.

@MZMcBride How do you do that ? Do you use another data than replicas, or statistics are present in another table ? Or perhaps it was simply deleted since last year.

In any case, if you still can, would you agree to generate the urwiki page day, as I was asked? Thanks in advance !

@Framawiki there is another way. See page watchers on page information . The API makes this information available. I'm not sure if it's available on the replicas somewhere too.

Hello Niharika, I forgot we can get the number of watchers for a page. Nevertheless, this would involve making a large number of requests to the API, which I do not think is very useful in view of the usefulness that such a report can bring back.

Hello BukhariSaeed, please take a look on MZMcBride's answer : en:User_talk:MZMcBride#About_watchlist_table_on_replicas. To summarize : the table was probably dropped during a database migration, and was requested to be re-populated.
