None of them reflects what you found. I never heard about this "new" craquelin.

I believe this "new" version is what was coating the outside of a large cream puff I was given on Saturday. I couldn't decide whether I liked it. I generally like Streusel, but it felt like wikt:gilding the lily.

I'm not sure that this counts as streusel. It's close, but maybe not quite the same.

However, now I need to ask your dear partner whether rolled oats are acceptable in streusel. Does the presence of oats make it be something else? I also hope that she will agree with me that a touch of cinnamon is a Good Thing™.

A streusel "can have almonds, but with oats it is more a crumble". "And +1 regarging cinnamon."

Also, "a 'craquelin pour choux' exists" (shame on me) but was not listed in the craquelin's list. It is now fixed.
