The relationship between Melissa Gomez and Pierre-Alexandre Crevaux is one of the strongest bonds anyone can find in nature. Having grown for exactly one year on April 9, 2013, it has become an example of success, confidence, trust and, most of all, love. Of course, this does not mean the couple never went through hardships. From little jealousy arguments to doubt-bringing fights, Melissa and Pierre have been through a lot but have managed to understand the importance of their relationship above all.

Melissa "Pulgita" Gomez and Pierre-Alexandre "Guni Guni" Crevaux had been going to the same high school for years before meeting for the first time. Miami Beach Senior High School had been part of Melissa's and Pierre's lives for two and four years respectively before they became part of each other's. And yet, it took a rare incident of fate to materialize the two individuals' first encounter.

Sometime in late February 2012, Pierre had forgotten his cell phone in a previous class. Realizing the problem, he ran off to his previous classroom (with authorization from his teacher, of course) to retrieve his phone, when he passed by a group of three girls. One of them was close friend Lea Alonso, who presented Pierre to a beautiful young Colombian, Melissa. She was wearing sweat clothes, which didn't show off the attractive aspects of her body, but what stroke Pierre the most was both her beautiful face, her penetrating eyes, and her boldness. After making a run to his classroom to get his cell phone and coming back as quickly (he remembers the run to this day), Pierre returned talking to Melissa's group. After a few sentences, the Colombian-American girl showed off her French skills by saying "Foufoune", the French vulgar version of vagina.

For the next two weeks, the two hardly saw each other. But on March 16, Melissa jumped on an open opportunity. Pierre announced on Facebook that day that he was moving from Sunny Isles Beach to the faraway Homestead and Gomez immediately commented on his status a casual "Uff. Goodluck with the Mexicans."

From casual to a little more modifier

The status comment resulted in Pierre opening a conversation via Facebook with Melissa. Both appeared shy and out of character, as can be demonstrated by the communication. After just a couple of minutes, however, Pierre left his house with his brother to buy video games. But this didn't prevent him from asking one quick and slick favor from Melissa: "Heyy I'm gettin off lemme get ur number I got something to ask you."

At that time, receiving Melissa was a huge victory for Pierre, who felt his heart beating a little faster when facing the idea of having found a good date for his Prom Night. "Have you even seen Shawn of the Dead?" Pierre asked as a way to start up the text messaging conversation with Melissa.

For technical reasons, however, the communication soon broke between the two and for a whole week both individuals ignored each other, believing the other had forgotten about them. But Pierre, doing once more the first move, went back to Lea Alonso, telling her about the girl he wanted to take out to Prom. When Lea heard Melissa's name, she decided to repeat it to her friend instead of keeping silence. "You have a secret admirer," Lea told Melissa.

At the end of the new week, Melissa decided to approach Pierre once again by texting him a smiley face. At that time, Pierre was going through a moving from Sunny Isles to Homestead and had to live alone, without electricity or Internet for a whole weekend. Melissa's text was for sure a reliever.

And the two went back to each other. Melissa and Pierre talked about anything, from bandeja paisa to zombie movies and cocktails.

A little crisis erupted when Melissa's phone decided not to receive text messages anymore and Pierre had to find a way to contact her before she would think he was ignoring her. But the problem was quickly solved and the two got even closer, with Pierre promising a "movie with nachos" to help her go through her cramps.

Quote to Kiss modifier

After another two weeks of smooth and cute talk over text messages, Pierre and Melissa decided to meet finally in an off-school context, during what should be described as their first date.

For their first date, the two went to the Scott Rakow Youth Center, where they ice-skated for a whole hour. Pierre still remembers what Melissa wore that day, including the thong that he will eventually describe as his favorite. One of the crucial moments of the relationship happened during the ice-skating session: While the two were faking their falls, one of them told the other: "If you fall, I fall with you." This will eventually become one of the couple's key quotes that will make them smile no matter the situation.

After the ice-skating session, Melissa and Pierre left off to South Beach, where they walked for dozens of blocks. Going through the beach, the streets, they had a long opportunity to share funny stories and interesting moments. For instance, when Melissa claimed she was tired, Pierre did not hesitate to carry her, a move she will eventually qualify as "cute". The date also saw the entering of the Mother, Gloriatron, in the scene as she called to make sure Melissa wasn't at the beach.

The second half of the date was less successful, however. As Pierre had to bravely fight off intruders twice his size in a car, as he took her to eat to McDonalds' out of all places, and as he had to bring her back home in a long bus ride, Melissa still concluded by saying everything was "worth it."

The second date involved a movie theater on the other side of the county, in Aventura Mall. The two went to watch the Hunger Games, a very good movie, but had no food and no drinks. As the movie went by, Melissa claimed the theater turned chilly, which Pierre ignored at first. But he soon understood the hint, put his arm around Melissa and as soon as the movie finished, right before she could get up, the two kissed passionately, sensually, romantically, and warmly.

Even though the night was just beginning, that moment was the couple's favorite minute of the entire year. It seemed as if the world had stopped. Feelings were finally shared and a new relationship was born.

But the couple officialized nothing for at least two more days. Instead, they spent the rest of the night laying against each other at the Surfside Beach. This happened on April 7 and on April 9, around 12:48, Pierre finally asked Melissa out and Melissa said yes. "I got a boyfriend, bitches!" she would brag in front of her friends a couple of minutes later.
