Bachelor International Business Information Technology Group 1 is a co-working group created in 2017 for an Information Technology assessment by Romain ROUQUET, Daniel THOMAS, Nicolas CLAIR, Almina TUFECKI and Justine HSU. They are all coming from different backgrounds.

COMMON POINTS

September 14th, 2017, is the first day they met at the Integration Day of Grenoble Ecole de Management. They are first year Bachelor students studying International Business in English, at Grenoble Ecole de Management, in the Paris Campus. The University is ranked as the number 1 Business Bachelor degree, in France, in 2017. One of their strongest point is their multiculturalism (China, Turkey, Bulgaria, France, Russia, etc.) brought by the school. Apart from that, they also share the same core values and similar goals and aspirations for the futur. They are all interested in doing business with dignity and to the fullest of our capabilities. Furthermore, we plan to become leaders and managers, guiding, helping and innitiating many ideas and projects able to benefit our society and make a significant impact on the world we live in today.

HISTORY

Nicolas CLAIR

He is a 19 year old french’s student from Paris. He is living in the 7th district of Paris. He is currently in Grenoble Ecole de Management in BIB1 and expects to graduate in 2020. He went to a private exclusive highschool named L’Ecole Maigret and Claude Bernard. Just before he have passed all his college in Victor Duruy who was based in Paris too. He used to be a boxer (blue glove) during many years he enjoys strong feelings and all sports that can give him this. He is interested in art and creativity, by this he means all types of art like fashion, pure art, luxury, music, etc… One of his passions is the sea and in particulary nautism, since he likes adrenaline and speed. He has a motor boat licence and a sailing one too, which be obtained at the age of 16. This allowed him to focus his passion and sail on his fathers boat. He has also worked in the nightclub industry. His project is to work in the Luxury and Art world, and possibly in the Event industry.                                                                    

Romain ROUQUET

He is 18 years old and he lives in Fontenay sous-bois, near Paris. He he obtained his economic Baccalaureat in 2017 at the Lycée Pablo Picasso and now he studies in the Ecole de Management of Grenoble, on the Paris campus. He expectes to graduate in 2020 of his Bachelor rand to integrate a master in luxury business In Grenoble. In 10 years, he expected to work in a luxury brand in France or Abroad. He is passionate about economics and history, but does not appreciate mathematics much. He used to do several sports, He has practiced almost 15 different sports, from soccer to karate or swimming, for him it’s a really important to go away from the school and to push your body out of its comfort zone. Today he goes to the gym to stay healthy. The sport that has struck him the most was swimming, he has practiced it during 5 years and has kept very good memories. More particularly, in 2014 when he arrived Second of the National Championship. This podium is one that he is most proud of and that’s why sports or any other extra scholar activities are important for his personal development.

Justine HSU

She is 18 years old. She lives in Paris. She is French with chinese origins. She went to a private high school named Les Francs-Bourgeois, in Paris, 75004. She is currently on the first year of Bachelor in International Business, at Grenoble Ecole de Management, on the Paris Campus. Her hobbies are Gym and Dancing. She has been going to the gym, for two years now and finds in very important to keep in good shape. She also practiced for 12 years, classical dancing and modern jazz. She began to dance at the age of 4. Her project is to work in the Luxury industry after being graduated. She does not know yet in which sector but thanks to her temporary work at Les Galeries Lafayette Paris, for the brand Chloé, it helped her to discover the work of a sales assistant. She wants to discover other sectors like Communication & Public Relations and also the Finance sector. To have worked for a Luxury brand is a first step to find her future job.

Almina TUFEKCI

She is 18 years-old. She is from Izmir, Turkey and lives in Paris, France. She has lived in Bucharest for about eight years before she moved to Paris and that is where she finished her high-school at the International School of Bucharest. At the moment she is a Bachelor in International Business student, in Grenoble Ecole de Management, Paris campus. In high-school, Almina joined the girls' football team and dropped it after a year because she decided she wasn't very good. Later on, Almina joined the schools' volleyball team for 4 years and got to attend to the final matches once. However, she did not continue to play after she finished high-school because she broke her finger once. Her hobbies are makeup, skincare and shopping. Almina's family is very important to her and she says she wouldn't be able to accomplish much without their love and support. Being part of international backgrounds and adapting to a multi-cultural environment, she aims to work internationally. For the future, she plans on having her own international company and make her family proud. Her biggest dream is to be able to live in a house like Will Smith's.

Daniel THOMAS

He is 20 years old and lives in the 16th district of Paris. He has obtained a french Baccalaureat specialising in Economics and Management at the Lycee Francais Victor-Hugo of Sofia, Bulgaria. Daniel has practiced many sports since a young age, in Sofia, Bulgaria, where he grew up. Including Skiing, swimming and football at a National Level and Tennis, Golf and Ice Hockey at a competitive level as well. Currently studying International Business in Grenoble Ecole de Management, Paris Campus. He is a young entrepreneur taking part in this course by intellectual curiosity, enabling him to later open his own business involved in Consulting and Event Organizing. Daniel has done multiple internships, in Law, Commerce and Luxury Branding over the last 3 years. Which have allowed him to center his passions and personal development objectives, allowing him to concrete his ideas and goals in an orderly fashion with precise steps along the way. Daniel speaks 5 languages, English, French and Bulgarian fluently and Spanish and Russian at an intermediate level. His core values are what define him as a person. As is his self-belief and motivation to obtain what he wants. This is what pushes him beyond barriers, makes him get out of his comfort zone and allows him to keep striving for more.

FUTURE

For the future, as a group they plan to work together. The reason is that during the IT assessment, they has a good cooperation and enjoyed working as a team. This team spirit they have experienced, helped them gain confidence. At the moment, this team expects to be working together in 10 years using their different skills to manage the different areas of a company.
