Loopy (Korean name: Lee Jin-Yong ( Hangul: 이진용), Born September 9th, 1987 in Seoul, South Korea ) is Korean songwriter, rapper, record producer, and founder and CEO of the independent hip hop record label Mkit Rain. People have to know that Loopy was not always his stage name. Until 2011, he was called Momentee and then he chose Teezy as a stage name. But in 2014 the rapper adopted the name Loopy, comes from 'loop', which is the repetition of a song. It also holds the meaning 'half insane', but it also came from the English word “looping”. With “looping” he wants to say that his flow will make your head spin. Which with that name he became popular. And the rapper denied any link to the famous manga One Piece.
In 2014, the rapper decided to leave his dear Korea to settle down in L.A, California. His Departure for the USA mark his meeting with the crew 42Crew, and especially with the rapper Nafla. Both rappers met during a small show in L.A. Firstly, they were acquaintances, but quickly they started to work together, and to do collaborations frequently.

2014: His Departure to USA modifier
He originally wanted to be a producer, but when he was in LA he though why not be a rapper, Then he met the crew 42Crew, and the rapper Nafla, both of them were attending a small show in L.A., then Loopy invite him for a meal to get close, and quickly they started to work together, and to do collaborations. If Loopy will never become a member of the 42Crew, he exchanged a lot with them and they helped each other a lot. At the end of the year he released his first Music Video WA$$UP
2015: His First Mixtape modifier
Earlier that year loopy released the single No More with Young West, And after 2 months, he released another single named 'King Loopy', and in September 2015, he released his first mixtape King Loopy, had featured some of 42Crew members like Nafla, Young West, or Niahn (who belonged to the Young Creation Crew). He won the Best Mixtape Song of the Year 2015, from Hiphop LE. After the release of King Loopy the korean rapper MyunDo dissed him, Loopy responded with the single “Me”, Then MyunDo dropped “L for Loser”, and after a while, they got over it and the story ended. At the end of 2015 he collaborated with Nafla in Mijangwon Song by the rapper Dumbfoundead.
2016: Mkit Rain modifier
Loopy had a clearly ambitious project, launching his own label. After few hesitations from him and his friends like Nafla, he became the founder and CEO of the hip hop record label Mkit Rain, And the leader of the group Mkit Rain. The Mkit Rain was officially launched on January 22nd, 2016, with the release of Come Thru performed by the rappers Loopy, Nafla and Bloo. He Featured in the album 'P.O.E.M' By Owen Ovadoz, in May He Featured in his friend mixtape AP, in 8th September he comeback as solo artist with his single Rrrr, 2 Months after he featured in Young West Song Zombie Walking.
2017: First Album, And First Concert modifier
2017 Was a great year for the rapper Loppy, His Group Mkit Rain Complete 5 members, with the rappers Young West, and Owen Ovadoz, On Mars he released his single Goyard, Loopy was back in South Korea and, likely, he would have known a bad patch during his stay in his native country. And he would not have such enjoyment to make music as he used to do back in L.A. This can be explained by the fact that the rapper would have been a little bit overwhelmed by his return. He was also not necessarily ready to accept his knew renown. Then on April 26, 2017. He Released his first full-length album ICE, a real work from him as a solo artist, presents 14 tracks, including the title number Problems, the previously released Goyard and Rrrr, and collaborations featuring rappers Young West, Nafla, Owen Ovadoz, Bloo and Niahn. Loopy, in an interview revealed that one month before ICE album release, he was not just as sure about the music he wanted to do as he used to. However, he still has really critical opinion about this album that he unveiled more because he felt he needed to, than he wanted to. After one month, he had his first solo concert on May 20, 2017. During the summer, he had a lot of collaborations with artists like GroovyRoom, G2, Code Kunst, Nafla, Dope Doug, And The popular Song With Seo Tai Ji, Internet War, With Nafla. He Take a break for a several months, and then on Dec 31, 2017 he comeback with his single molla.
2018: Questions, Show Me The Money 777 modifier
On March 7, 2018. He released his Mini Album Questions, With 12 tracks. The rapper also invests himself in the Mkit Rain, he raps on 10 tracks over 14 in the Album Public Enemy which was released on May 4th, 2018. A day after he held his second Solo concert. On September, he joined Show Me The Money 777, With His crew members Nafla, Owen Ovadoz, He Joined Team Hi-Lite AOMG, and end-up being 1st runner-up.

Determination is, indeed a significant value for Loopy. One can notice it first in his Kendrick Lamar admiration. Compton rapper is not only an inspiration for his rap, but also the Grammy’s rapper would have contributed a lot to put on the spotlight of the American Hip hop the West Coast scene. For him, nobody else can rap like Kendrick Lamar. And Also He Have a lot of respect to the korean rapper Tablo, He mentioned him in alot of his interviews.
