  • Les Vigiles pour la paix sont une série de manifestations ayant lieu depuis dans de nombreuses villes d'Allemagne, d'Autriche et de Suisse et ayant lieu tous les lundis, s'inspirant en cela des manifestations du lundi qui ont fait tomber le régime communiste en RDA en 1989. Elles ont commencé en réaction aux menaces de guerre internationale que fait peser la crise ukrainienne de 2013-2014.

  • Vigiles pour la paix : incident de la « police de la charia » à Wuppertal, en Allemagne (2014) : des musulmans salafistes radicaux patrouillaient dans les rues de Wuppertal, ville de l’ouest de l’Allemagne, afin d’« influencer et de recruter des jeunes », selon la police locale[1]. Vêtus de gilets réfléchissants orange vif portant l’inscription « Police de la charia » dans le dos, ces patrouilleurs rôdaient autour des discothèques et des maisons de jeu, intimant aux passants de s’abstenir de jouer et de consommer de l’alcool. La police de Wuppertal a porté plainte[2].
