American Book Awards
L'American Book Award a été fondé en 1978 par la Before Columbus Foundation (en). Il cherche à distinguer des auteurs américains contemporains tous genres confondus. Il a été lancé pour concurrencer des prix plus restrictifs comme le National Book Award. Son objectif est de promouvoir la qualité et la diversité de la littérature américaine.
