Le Souimanga de Hellmayr (Cinnyris hellmayri) est une espèce de passereaux de la famille des Nectariniidae, native de la savane du Piémont arabe du sud-ouest (en).
Son nom est attribué à l'ornithologue autrichien Carl Eduard Hellmayr (1878-1944).
Description

Cet oiseau mesure 13 cm.
Habitat
modifierIl fréquente notamment les vallées d'oueds[1] pourvues d'acacias (e.g. faux gommier, gommier rouge) et de jujubiers (e.g. de Palestine)[2].
Répartition et sous-espèces
modifierSelon la classification de référence du Congrès ornithologique international (15.1, 2025)[3] il se répartit en deux sous-espèces (ordre phylogénique) :
- C. h. kinneari Bates, 1935 — monts Sarawat (centre/nord) ;
- C. h. hellmayri Neumann, 1904 — monts Sarat (sud), Hadhramaut (en) et Dhofar (en).
