Le championnat IndyCar Series 2018 est la 23^e saison du championnat d'IndyCar Series. Comportant 17 courses, il démarre le 11 mars à St. Petersburg et se termine le 16 septembre à Sonoma.

À 38 ans, Scott Dixon décroche sa cinquième couronne en IndyCar après celles obtenues en 2003, 2008, 2013 et 2015.

Les 500 miles d'Indianapolis sont remportées pour la première fois par Will Power, qui venait de s'adjuger le Grand Prix. Le titre du meilleur rookie est attribué à Robert Wickens, qui termine 11^e du championnat malgré son grave accident survenu à Pocono.
