Biographie

Après avoir obtenu son diplôme de lycée, il a rejoint un club de théâtre. Après avoir fait ses preuves, il a été impressionné lorsqu'il a entendu parler du concept de « vivre un rôle » par un collègue.

Après avoir commencé dans des animés comme The Familiar of Zero, il a enchaîné divers rôles notamment dans Kanon et Genesis of Aquarion . Il a également félicité le doubleur Hiroaki Hirata pour sa performance sur Jack Sparrow dans Pirates des Caraïbes. Ishikawa est, ensuite, entré au Pro Fit Voice Actor Training Center avec l'argent qu'il gagnait grâce à son travail à temps partiel.

En 2012, il a fait un doublage dans l'anime dans Waiting in the Summer, son premier rôle principal étant en avril 2013 dans la série animée Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet . Il a remporté le prix du meilleur doubleur débutant aux 8e Seiyu Awards et le prix du meilleur doubleur dans un second rôle aux 14e Seiyu Awards.

Kaito Ishikawa se fait connaitre en prêtant sa voix pour le film d’animation japonais Your Name. puis double le personnage Genos de la série animé One Punch Man, Tenya Iida dans la série My Hero Academia et fera également le doublage de Azusagawa Sakuta dans l'adaptation animé de Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai.

Le 30 septembre 2025, il annonce sur son compte X qu'il va se marier avec la doubleuse Maaya Uchida, qui double Nodoka Toyohama dans Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai.
