Welcome to my user page. I am Emilio from Andalusia, Spain, and emijrp is my nickname on the Internet.^[1]

I like the idea of compiling the sum of all human knowledge and its preservation. I joined Wikipedia in 2005, collaborating regularly as a volunteer in many areas.

As of 2026, I have contributed 240,000 handmade edits on a wide range of topics, over 110 million bot edits to all Wikimedia projects, and uploaded 20,000 photographs of monuments and cities to Commons. I am also active on Wikidata, where Emijrpbot created over 100,000 items and added 1 billion descriptions in hundreds of languages.

Finally, I have developed several tools and published academic literature,^[2] including the anti-vandalism bot AVBOT,^[3] Wiki Loves Monuments maps and statistics,^[4] the WikiTeam digital preservation project (which has backed up over 600,000 wikis)^[5] and other software like Wikiradio or StatMediaWiki.
