Sebastien Heintz, known as Sebastien-H, is a Swiss guitarist, multi-instrumentalist singer and songwriter born on the 28th July 1993 in Yverdon-Les-Bains.

Biography

Sebastien started playing guitar when he turned 10. In 2004, he wrote his first songs and recorded them on a 4 tracks recorder. Four years later, he started to study at the EJMA and then recorded his first EP in a professional studio in Lausanne.Sebastien Heintz

Between 2008 and 2012, Sebastien plays in a few different projects, DJs & Bands, and then moves in 2012 to London where he started studying music at the award winning music school, BIMM London. He finished his music performance degree three years later.

In mai 2013, Sebastien won a contest put together by Universal Music France to play alongside the famous french singer and guitarist, Matthieu Chedid aka -M-, in Marseille. Seven months later, he met Zee Gachette (Z-STAR) in a basement jam organised by Matthieu Chedid in London and became musician in Zee’s project, Z-STAR. He is now touring around Europe and Australia as Z-STAR lead guitarist. Sebastien also plays guitar and piano for the swiss duet, Marzella.

After reforming his power trio, Sebastien and his two band mates, Loric Mathez and David Saunders, recorded an EP in a famous studio in Tileyard Studios, London. The EP, Eponyme, was released on the 7th September 2015.

In Novembre 2015, Zee Gachette and the Sebastien decided to create a new band from the existing band, Z-Star, which they named Z-Star Delta. The Delta project is a two pieces band, respectively Zee on acoustic guitars, drums and vocals and Sebastien on electric and slide guitars, keyboard and bv’s. Since creating the new band, they released an tour album, Dark Days Down Under, and they toured in Australia as well as in Europe. IN 2017, they play for 3 consecutive nights at the famous Glastonbury Festival

During summer 2016, Sebastien has been playing in some of the best swiss festivals such as Le Venoge with his own band, Sebastien-H.

He works with Amélie Daniel as a guitarist, producer and artistic director. Together, they play around Switzerland and Europe.

In 2018, Sebastien starts his work as co-producer at the Large View Studio, based in Switzerland, with his long-time friend and collaborator, Loric Mathez. Together they produce artists such as Katie Li, Amélie Daniel and many more. Sebastien also creates a side project, OVERSEA, dedicated to electronic experiments and synthesizes. He publishes works on youtube mixing contemplative music with minimalistic nature shots.

Early 2019, Sebastien comes back on tour with Zee Gachette as part of their duo, Z-Star Delta, after a year devoted to his producing other artists. They make a very special apparence at the very well-known Port Fairy Folk festival.
