Manouel Mamikonian modifier

Hello Odejea, do you understand English? I hope so. Well, I'm translating the articles about the armenian history that wiki fr. have, and I need to say: a lot of them are amazing, really! But I'm having problems with one of them. It is Manouel Mamikonian. There there is a armenian noble named "Vacé" and until now I didn't find any mention about him in online sources, even in "A History of Armenia" by Vahan M. Kurkjian. And my doubt is, is his name write in French? If so, what is his armenian or greek name? Other problem that I had is about the fourth paragraph. There is no sources there and I also don't find nothing exactly as you wrote there. Could you check please? Thanks a lot and I wait an answer.--Renato de carvalho ferreira (discuter) 13 novembre 2013 à 08:46 (CET)Répondre

Hello,
  • Vacé is aslo called Vatché Mamikonian (Վաչե Մամիկոնյան). There are two princes Mamikonian (all princes Mamikonian are on this page) with this firstname :
  • About the fourth paragraph : is it « La reine et le régent se rapprochent ensuite de la Perse et reçoivent du vieux roi Sapor II des présents et la protection d’un corps de cavalerie commandé par le marzban Suren. Ils réussissent toutefois à maintenir un équilibre précaire entre les deux puissances voisines rivales », I don't know. It was added by Dalriada (d · c · b). You have to ask him. It seems to be related in Faustus of Byzantium, book V, chap XXXVIII.

Hello Odejea. Sorry disturb you again about it, but now I'm having another problem.

There is no problem. But can you post in Discussion utilisateur:Odejea and not in Discussion utilisateur:Odejea/2013/03, that is an archive page. Odejea (♫♪) 14 novembre 2013 à 10:05 (CET)Répondre

The last paragraph has a source, a primary one, but I can't find anywhere. As you can see here Faustus' fifth book doesn't have more than 44 chapters and I really don't know where I can prove this information. If you read the fifth book the information provided by Faustus is almost totally different than those one of the last paragraph: he doesn't mention Theodosius II, the agreement with Shapur is undone even during Shapur's reign due the treason of Mérouzhan Ier Arçrouni and Manouel died before Armenia be devided by Roman and Sassanid Empires. All this information Faustus describe from chapter XXXVIII of book 5 until chapter I of book 6. Could you check again?--Renato de carvalho ferreira (discuter) 14 novembre 2013 à 05:50 (CET)Répondre

This source is added in the same edit that previous, by Dalriada (d · c · b). Odejea (♫♪) 14 novembre 2013 à 10:05 (CET)Répondre
Sardur (d · c · b) has just changed this reference to chapter 44. Odejea (♫♪) 14 novembre 2013 à 10:12 (CET)Répondre
Other think is about the date of death of Manuel. This version of the article says 386, but I also don't find any source that show this. All I saw say 385.--Renato de carvalho ferreira (discuter) 14 novembre 2013 à 05:54 (CET)Répondre
The source is Cyrille Toumanoff, Les dynasties de la Caucasie chrétienne de l'Antiquité jusqu'au XIXe siècle : Tables généalogiques et chronologiques, Rome, . You can see it on wikidata. Odejea (♫♪) 14 novembre 2013 à 10:05 (CET)Répondre
