Géographie
modifierLa ville de Thủ Đức est située à l'est de Hô Chi Minh-Ville. Sa situation géographique est la suivante :
- À l'est et au sud, elle est limitrophe de la province de Đồng Nai.
- À l'ouest, elle est limitrophe de la 12e arrondissement, district de Bình Thạnh, 1er arrondissement et 4e arrondissement (la frontière est la rivière Saïgon).
- Au nord, elle est limitrophe de la province de Bình Dương.
Histoire
modifierLa ville a été fondée en à partir de 3 arrondissements de Ho Chi Minh-Ville (2e arrondissement, 9e arrondissement et arrondissement de Thủ Đức[1],[2],[3],[4]. Sa superficie totale est de 211,56 km2 pour une population de 1 013 795 habitant.
