Lyxor Asset Management, the fully-owned Asset Manager of Societe Generale Group, was founded in 1998 and counts 600 professionals worldwide managing and advising $118.4bn* of assets. Lyxor offers customized investment management services in ETFs & Indexing, Alternatives & Multi-Management and Absolute Return & Solutions. Lyxor research counts more than 20 researchers and publishes research in macroeconomics, quantitative and alternative investments. 1998 : Lyxor Asset Management is created by Société Générale and Managed Account Launches First Alternative

1999 : Lyxor International Asset Management is set up.

2000 : The company launched index funds and ETFs activities. 

2005 : Lyxor Luxembourg is created.

2007 : Lyxor Japan is also created . 

2009 : Lyxor Asset Management merged with SG Asset Management Alternative Investments (SGAM-AI), another alternative investment subsidiary of Societe Generale. Lyxor moved to the United States (Lyxor Inc.), China (Fortune SG joint venture) and Ireland (Lyxor AM Ireland Ltd.).

2010 : The company launched its first dedicated managed accounts platform

2013 : The company strengthens its presence in the UK and expand its activities to credit management.

2014 : Lyxor Asset Management announces the nomination of Lionel Paquin as President.
