Garden et Coué
modifierAccording to Orton (Orton, J.L., Hypnotism Made Practical (Tenth Edition), Thorson's, (London), 1955, pp.143-144), the English biographer of Émile Coué. . . once Orton had explained certain of the specific and particular essential principles of voice production to Coué:
- "[Coué] was able to help so effectually Mary Garden, then America's principal soprano, that she publicly stated that within one month her voice had appreciably improved and she had reached notes never sung by her before."
These claims are strongly and independently supported by the account of the Mayor of the French city of Peille, on page 30 of [1]. This piece also refers to a music school named in Garden's honour.129.94.6.29 16 octobre 2007 à 13:04 (CEST)
