Retrait des Infobox2 - Suivi

Hello,

Est-ce que c'est ok si je demande la création d'une page de suivi entretenue par un bot qui listerai les retraits d'infobox WD ?

Certains aiment bien les retirer sans justification et ce à plusieurs reprises. Il me semble nécessaire de vérifier si ces retraits sont légitimes ET, surtout, quel est la raison de ces retraits. Suivant les raisons avancées, on pourrait ensuite corriger les éventuels problèmes rapportés sur les infobox (manque de champs par exemple).

L'objectif de la proposition me parait douteux. J'ai l'impression que la proposition suppose que remplacer une infobox utilisant des données Wikidata par une autre infobox ne les utilisant est a priori illégitime et doit être justifié contrairement à l'opération inverse. Utiliser des données wikidata est autorisé, ne pas les utiliser est également autorisé et il n'y a pas que je sache de règle générale privilégiant un type d'infobox plutôt qu'un autre concernant Wikidata. On peut imaginer un suivi des ajouts également, si cela peut te rassurer O.Taris. Cependant, la proposition est surtout pour mieux comprendre quels sont les améliorations possibles pour les différentes infobox WD. Contre, évidemment. Ca me semble surtout l'occasion d'un bon gros flicage pour faire la chasse à ceux qui retireraient le modèle pour le remplacer par un autre plus adéquat. Comme le dit O.Taris plus haut, il n'y a aucune raison de privilégier une action plutôt qu'une autre. J'ajoute que vu son attitude en général, je ne fais aucune confiance à NoFWDaddress/NoFWDaddress.  NoFWDaddress : Pour info, en ajoutant la Catégorie:Page utilisant Infobox Biographie2 dans ta liste de suivi, tu verras déjà au quotidien les ajouts et suppression de la dite infobox.

Petite remarque en passant à propos de Alix Bénézech (d · h · j · ↵ · DdA), les dates de naissance dans l'intro et dans l'infobox ne correspondent actuellement pas. Ca fait un peu désordre pour une infobox remplie à la main. H4stings ^d 3 mai 2017 à 14:34 (CEST)

Euh... si je peux me permettre Matpib (d · c · b), tu as visiblement lu un peu vite. L'idée d'NoFWDaddress est l'inverse : il souhaite vérifier que le remplacement des infobox Biographie2 préexistantes par des infobox traditionnelles soit pertinent et bien fait.   Les personnes qui auraient souhaité utiliser une certaine infobox mais qui lui trouvent des défauts peuvent toujours faire part des améliorations qu'elles souhaitent dans la page de discussion de l'infobox. Là, la proposition vise plutôt à surveiller et à essayer de forcer les contributeurs à privilégier une certaine infobox. C'est pourquoi je trouve la proposition biaisée. J'ai vite lu les réactions, et je n'ai plus trop le temps de contribuer à Wikipédia & C^ie en ce moment, mais j'aimerais faire une remarque : maintenant que l'on sait prendre les données depuis Wikidata et leur donner un bon rendu, il serait surement intéressant d'adapter les infoboxes actuelles afin de les rendre compatibles à Wikidata, en commençant d'abord par des champs simples comme les dates de naissance et de mort. Dans l'esprit j'ai par exemple {{Infobox Architecte}}. J'avais déjà proposé cette approche, ça permet d'être certain de bien faire les choses. Déjà, les infobox n'ont jamais été obligatoires sur un article, donc même s'il n'y a pas d'infobox sur l'article, cela ne justifie pas d'en mettre une systématiquement.

Et en plus, dans de nombreux cas, l'infobox est ridicule sur l'article : quand justement l'article ne fait que 2-3 lignes, une bonne "grosse ébauche" quoi, l'infobox alourdit le chargement de la page et artificiellement sa longueur mais n'apporte rien du tout au lecteur...

Souvent d'ailleurs, on peut se demander si l'ajout d'infobox ne s'apparente pas plus à une chasse au chiffre (augmenter le chiffre d'utilisation du modèle) plutôt qu'un réel intérêt pour le lecteur... -- Fanchb29 (discuter) 6 mai 2017 à 00:25 (CEST)

Je pense que le problème n'est pas de remplacer l'une par l'autre dans un sens ou dans un autre puisque les deux sont autorisées. Par contre, les partisants de l'infobox Biographie 2 nous disaient généralement que ça permettrait de confronter les informations et de corriger ou de compléter d'un côté ou de l'autre. Et cet argument me semble, en effet, tout à fait acceptable MAIS il faut que ce soit fait. Quand on met en place une infobox non-Wikidata, il faut aller rechercher chaque info et, comme une infobox est censée résumer les infos qui sont déjà dans l'article, l'info devrait correspondre. Avec l'infobox Biographie 2, on écrit {{Infobox Biographie2}} l'info se place dans l'infobox et le tour est joué. Facile sauf que les données de Wikidata n'ont pas été rassemblées par les mêmes contributeurs que ceux qui ont écit l'article dans Wikipédia. Conséquence : il y a des infos plus ou moins précises d'un côté ou de l'autre, des infos manquantes d'un côté ou de l'autre, voire des infos contradictoires. Exemples récents :

• François Matton : né à Paris dans le RI, pas de lieu de naissance dans l'infobox. Ne pouvait-on pas l'ajouter en même temps ?
• Gerard J. van den Berg : l'infobox indique qu'il a étudié à l'Université de Tilburg (qui devient "Tilbourg" d'ailleurs quand on clique sur le lien), rien dans l'article. Aurait-il été difficile, si l'info est fiable, d'ajouter l'information dans l'article ?
• Clément Joseph Tissot s'appelle Joseph Clément Tissot dans l'infox. Il est décrit comme « médecin militaire » dans le RI, comme « écrivain » dans l'infobox. Ne pouvait-on pas vérifier les informations. L'infobox a été ajoutée à 9:44 par un contributeur qui a fait une autre modif sur un autre article à 9:43 et qui a effectué 5 modifications sur 5 autres articles à 9:45. On est pourtant sensé vérifier que la pose de l'infobox Biographie 2 n'entraîne pas de contradiction. Ça ne se fait pas en moins d'une minute quand on a un article de cette taille.
• Theodore Andrea Cook : est né à Wantage d'après l'infobox mais son lieu de naissance n'est pas indiqué dans l'article. D'autre part, il a obtenu une médaille d'argent au JO (indiqué dans l'article) mais rien dans l'infobox. C'est pourtant important. Ne pouvait-on pas ajouter ces infos des deux côtés ?
• Karl Wilhelm von Nägeli est né le 26 ou le 27 mars 1817 à Kilchberg (en Suisse) d'après l'infobox et le 27 mars 1817 près de Munich d'après le RI. Cas flagrant de pose d'infobox sans vérifier la cohérence avec l'article.

Donc, s'il faut surveiller la pose d'infobox, à mon avis, c'est la pose des infobox Biographie 2, pas pour reverter mais bien pour compléter et informer les contributeurs qu'ils doivent vérifier que l'infobox posée n'ajoute pas de contradiction et les inviter à compléter les informations d'un côté et de l'autre. Hum, là, si j'argumentais comme d'autres, je dirais « c'est un flicage intolééraaaaaaaaaaaable ».
Dans cette optique, pourquoi se limiter à l'infobox Biographie2 ? N'hésitez pas à visiter la centaine d'infobox non-Wikidata aux informations contradictoires pour retrouver le ou les coupables des contradictions. Prototype pour modifier les données Wikidata dans les infoboxes depuis Wikipédia

Bonjour à tous,

Une des fonctionnalités les plus demandées pour Wikidata est de permettre l’édition des données de Wikidata directement depuis Wikipédia, afin que les contributeurs puissent continuer leur travail sans devoir passer d’un site à l’autre.

L’équipe de développement de Wikidata a travaillé sur un outil permettant d’atteindre ce but : remplir et modifier les infoboxes de Wikipédia avec des informations de Wikidata, directement sur Wikipédia, via l’Editeur Visuel.

Nous avions déjà demandé des retours en 2015, et récolté des idées intéressantes. Nous aimerions maintenant vous présenter notre premier prototype et avoir vos retours, afin d’améliorer et de continuer le développement de cet outil.

Nous vous le présentons volontairement très tôt, afin de pouvoir inclure au mieux vos retours, avant et pendant la phase de développement. Vous êtes les utilisateurs principaux de cette fonctionnalité, nous voulons donc être sûrs qu’elle sera adaptée à vos besoins et vos modes de contribution.

Vous trouverez le prototype, la description des fonctionnalités, ainsi qu’une vidéo de démonstration, sur cette page. N’hésitez pas à ajouter vos commentaires sur la page de discussion, en français ou en anglais. Vous pouvez également laisser des commentaires ici, je m’efforcerai de suivre la discussion, néanmoins laisser un message sur la page centrale sur Wikidata permettra d’avoir une conversation globale avec tous les autres contributeurs.

@Lea Lacroix (WMDE) et @Oliv0 Voilà une bonne nouvelle ; il manque 2-3 jours de dev pour que mon gadget soit fonctionnel, mais je t'avoue que je n'ai pas trouvé et le temps et la motivation pour le faire ces derniers mois...
